Introducing Lou

Hello, I’m Lou …

My first experience of yoga was as a teenager and I kept coming back to it. I found it challenging and soothing, sustaining and life changing. The practice of yoga has supported important and brave shifts in my life, away from stress and disconnection and towards self-awareness, growth and inner wisdom.

I teach a varied schedule of community focussed yoga and sound meditation sessions, corporate classes, special events, retreats, festivals and workshops in London and beyond. After fifteen years of regular practice and eight years teaching experience, I am continuously inspired to guide and to learn.

You are always welcome in my classes — no matter your life experience or flexibility. I work with a diverse range of humans of many shapes, sizes & backgrounds, sharing practices for the whole being. I am especially interested in yoga as a tool for empowerment, community, inclusivity, mental health and healing.

As a singer, I have always deeply connected with the power of music and sound to bring people together, to express what needs to be expressed and to connect. I was drawn to study Naad Yoga (Yoga of Sound with Leo Cosendai) in 2019 and I adore guiding immersive group and one-to-one sound meditation sessions (‘sound baths’) to nourish, illuminate and restore.

I am grateful to my teachers, my students who walk alongside through this ever-evolving, multi-layered practice of yoga and life.

Together, we’ll make space to tune in.
